If you're ready to let go of tension, exhaustion, and stress, join us for an evening of relaxation and restoration of body, mind, heart, and soul. Breathe deeply and be nourished in restorative yoga postures, with the body fully supported by cushioned bolsters and blankets. Let go of the outside world and merge with peace and stillness within during the guided meditation (yoga nidra) practice.
No prior yoga or meditation experience is needed. You are welcome to bring a small pillow as a cushion for the head; all other props and supports will be provided. Both the yoga postures and meditation will be practiced while lying down on a yoga mat.

Whether you are experiencing health challenges, are under stress, or simply want to slow down and reconnect with your sense of self, a breath-centered Gentle Viniyoga practice can support you in your healing journey. Gentle Viniyoga offers benefits for a wide range of conditions including back pain, joint sensitivity, muscle stiffness, anxiety, depression, and stress.
This class will focus on the use of the breath as the initiator of movement in the body – an approach that truly integrates body, mind, breath, and spirit. Adaptations of classic yoga postures will be used to gently and incrementally increase strength, flexibility, and balance. The pace of the class includes time to reflect and to simply 'be present'. A guided meditation / relaxation practice will be included to end the evening in a peaceful and restful state of being.
