We'll explore how physical posture affects the breath, how specific breathing practices can increase breath efficiency, and which yoga postures & movements promote healthy breathing for individuals with asthma.
Viniyoga is a gentle therapeutic style of yoga that emphasizes the importance of breath and awareness as tools for healing. Dawn is a Yoga Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher in the Viniyoga tradition at the E-RYT 200 and RYT 500 hour levels. She works with clients privately in therapeutic yoga sessions and teaches small group therapeutic classes.
